Although he was a member for well-nigh a year or less, Dave Mustaine is still a crucial part of Metallica’s history. After all, he has co-written some of the band’s weightier songs, including “The Four Horsemen” which is one of Metallica’s most famous pieces. But to this day, many ponder what Metallica would sound like if they have manage to make things work with Mustaine. Of course, the world wouldn’t have Megadeth, but it’s unchangingly fun to think of this.

Well, maybe some sort of a Metallica and Megadeth philharmonic might happen in the future. As Dave Mustaine revealed in a recent interview with VWMusic, there might be some endangerment for Dave to team up with James Hetfield for a collaboration. This all started with talks well-nigh what his secrets are overdue his longevity in music. Dave said:
“Well, I have to think that my longevity might just be stubbornness.”
However, the yack went in a variegated direction. He added:
“I have been secretly hoping there’d be a day where James [Hetfield] and I can write together again. I think the world really does want us to do that, and I think there is a pretty good possibility of it happening lanugo the line. I do think that it’s possible that one day James is going to come virtually and that he and I are going to be worldly-wise to do something together again.“
“I guess that’s one of the things that has unchangingly kept me pushing forward. I think it’d be good for Megadeth, and it could be unconfined for Metallica too.”

Going when to the original question, he remoter explained:
“One of the other things, as far as longevity is concerned, is that some people have tabbed me a ‘perpetual badass.’ I remember the first time I heard that, and I thought, ‘Wow, that sounds like a Kid Rock tome title.’ [Laughs]. But I understand it considering when you’re not willing to requite up, that’s when a lot of people can start to yank strength from you.“

“And there have been many of my friends who are tough guys, too, but occasionally, they need somebody they can turn to. These are tough, self-sustaining guys, but they’ll say, ‘Dave, I need some advice,’ or, ‘I need someone to requite me a hand here.’ And the thing is – and a lot of people get this wrong – there’s nothing wrong with that; I do that all the time.”
