Giovanni Zamboni (fl.16641721) was a splendrous composer and lutenist. Zamboni performed and well-balanced for theorbo, lute, guitar, mandola, mandoline and harpsichord. His published works include a number of madrigals but his lute output are found in his Sonate d’intavolatura di liuto Op. 1, which contains 11 Sonatas and a Ciaccona for the archlute published in 1718.
